It started early yesterday morning. Baby Mama and Baby Granny were shot and stabbed to death somewhere around 5:00 a.m. Baby Mama was seven months pregnant with a second child. Her 16 month old toddler was not harmed. An officer arrived to answer a 911 hang up call just as the bloodsoaked perp was coming out the front door. Not knowing about the carnage inside the officer wrestled with the perp who broke free and ran away. No arrests yet. Last night just across the county line two women were killed in a head on collision. My ex-wife called this morning and said one of them was her sister's daughter. She once stayed with us for a few days when she was a teenager. She had pretty much screwed up her life with drugs before the accident and just finished a year in the pen. She was 31 and the girl who got killed with her was 19. I didn't know her. It was a shame to see this beautiful girl go downhill and then see her life end like this. The driver who was behind her just before the wreck was on a cell phone with the highway patrol trying to get her stopped as she was all over the road. She hit head on with one ton duelly truck. The occupants of the truck were seriously hurt but not killed. Pics are in the same newspaper with an abbreviated statement because it was too close to the deadline. My daughter is working on a story now for tomorrow's paper.
