Bag Recommendation?

Okay, so I need a decent padded carry bag for my new 15-22 with scope mounted and with exterior pockets for empty mags. Suggestions, please?

I'm a newbie too and just wanted something value oriented to take my new 15-22 to the range. I have Amazon Prime and this was $20 at the time and while it's snug with a big 24x scope, it's been a great little case.

I almost went for a cheap hard case, but decided it was too bulky.

And while the idea of using a guitar case was stealthy (I'm in a very liberal town), it felt too weird, since a local highschooler snuck his rifle to school like that.

I have this bag too. Good quality. I can carry 2 rifles and a couple pistols plus some ammo. It'll be heavy, but it works. It also comes with a backpack style strap setup to allow you to carry the bag on your back.

+1 for the flambeau tactical hard case! As mentioned it's a little bulky, but an awesome case! Has straps inside that you can fit pretty much anywhere, plus four plastic corner dividers to separate mags and such that can also be placed in any way you see fit! Plus, you can't go wrong for $40! Definitely good for long term storage, or traveling but not really just for a range bag. Check out mine..

Nice product IMO.

It is pretty well made. I liked it enough to order a smaller version of it, which should be delivered in about an hour. This one was just too big for me.

I bought the S&W 38" case made by Allen Company. It's more expensive [$50+] but it is well made with interior straps to hold the rifle, 5 mag pockets, and a large pocket. It has a flap to cover the zipper to prevent any rubbing on the gun. It has the S&W logo, too. I got it from Amazon and really like it. I have several less expensive cases that do the job, but this one is my favorite.

I just break mine down warp it in a towel throw it in my gym bag
Problem solved for about $ 20

I just need a carry case for the rifle so I don't look like one of those Texas morons walking around in fast food restaurants or Target with an "uncovered" AR-15 strapped to their necks. And besides, you can't walk into or onto a range around here with an "unbagged" firearm.

I have this case in tan and it's tougher than beginners' biscuits! It is a MOLLE platform with many compartments. Proud to endorse this product.
