I stopped at a gun and lawnmower shop while on the way to the old
Second Chance Bowling Pin Shoot years ago.
There was a Banker's Special in .22 LR in the case.
I handled it but didn't have the cash.
What I had with me was earmarked for side matches and commercial
row buys at the shoot.
Never seen another in any caliber.
That place ought to be in our little neighbor town, Cut and Shoot, Texas.
Love seeing these old bankers specials. I really never knew much about them...now I may need to get myself one.

I have a Colt Detective Special 38 that I have had since 1966. Shoot fine. don't us +P ammo, just straight 38. It's in great shape since it spent 40 years in a lock box and only went out a few times. Paid $50.00 for it brom a brother-in-law who ran out of drinking money when on leave.Nice. I like the old Colt and Smith .32 and .38 S&W revolvers.
