bayonet - what is it ?

I got two of these. They are identical except for the numbering stamped on them. Both have original gen-u-wine chip board handles. You could own one (or two) for the right price. Thinking these could be the next Randall type collectable.

I can't tell what gun it was originally for but it's a modified bayonet most probably from WWI.
During WWII the didn't have enough bayonets to go around so they took older ones and shortened them and reground the points it's not uncommon to see US bayonets from WWI modified to be used on M1 Garand's.

VZ 58, here is a variation of the rifle. Because of import restrictions, no lug on this rifle. This one sold by CZ.
