Bead blasted 3” 686 ?

Did S&W offer this in anything other than a cs1 ?

Okay thanks. I saw one for sale and was wondering if it could possibly be a cs1. But I may still try to get it. I love the bead blasted stainless

About 99% sure it was a CS-1. I bid, but apparently didn't want it bad enough. I was hoping this one might go unnoticed with the non-specific listing and poor pictures....

Yup, that was it. I was trying to stay quiet about where it was hoping it went unnoticed. But alas a bunch of goons bid it to stupidity.

It went for about what a well used, no-box CS-1 goes for these days. These are pretty rare as far as a 686 goes, so I'm not really surprised at the prices.

Like you, I was hoping it would fly under the radar... guess we were bidding against each other, sorry 'bout that.

I didn’t think it was a cs1 after posters in this thread said they had non cs1 guns in that finish. I was waiting till the end to bid, and once it crossed $1k I was out. I watched a nib cs1 3” sell for about $600 more a few weeks ago.
