I recently posted about a friend that left me a S&W 686. Well, I did a little fluff and buff and added new shoes to it. It is not a great picture but wanted to post it. It will serve as a great memory of a great friend.

Nice job on the polishing and the black grips look good too. Your friend would be proud of you. Bob

Looks great. What a prized possesion from a friend. He must have thought a lot of you and wanted you to remember him through such a wonderful gift. Cherish it, and enjoy the firearm and the fond memories.

Like your style I have the same pistol and just placed an order for those same grips. About how long did it take to process your order. Regardless it looks like one you should be able to get alot of use from. Great job with the upgrades.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I am sure he would have liked it also. Now to find some nice leather for it.

Lev83, I bought them at the Dayton gun show last weekend.

Hmmff, those cartridges are a little dull.

Nice work. Would you tell me what kind of grips those are, please? They're quite nice.

Chris
