Belt slides and Yaqui style

I tried the slide holsters many years ago (early 1970s) but, in addition to the problems already noted, I found that carrying my old 1911 in the slide usually left a lot of oil/residue on whatever pants I was wearing. In order to keep most of my 1911s functioning properly I carried them "wet" (lots of lubricant). Slides and 1911s don't (at least foe me) work well together.
