Belt Suggestions

I attended a training class with some yankee boys from Wisconsin a few years ago and they put me on to a belt from Duluth Trading Co. The "It Get's Better With Age" belt is a quality leather belt, runs $39.50 and is available in black, tan, or brown.

I have two of them and they really do get better with time. Don't know that I'd wear the brown or tan with a suit, but they go great with slacks and khaki's and jeans. I have worn my black one with a suit.

I understand the need for a good gun belt. Or do I?

I have two good gun belts. A Galco and an old Bianchi. I've worn them a time or two as well as many other off brand leather belts.

Now I'm no expert but I've been carrying concealed for a long time with just an average leather belt. Never had a problem and don't foresee any.

The most important consideration is that the belt loops are the same size as the belt.

If I wear any belt too tight for a day, my back starts to hurt. Don't know why but it does. And I've talked to many cops that experience the same thing after wearing all that gear for so many hours. That's why many have switched to a should harness type system.

I respect the opinion of most here but I have never had a need for a more expensive belt.

I have a fat boy belt, also made in NC. It's not just for the large mid section. I ordered a 38in, added inches for the IWB. It doesn't look like your typical gun belt. Innovative no buckle design.
