Looking for a compact DA/SA 9mm, and ran across this. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with them, good or bad.

I picked one up on a trade a couple of years ago with the intent to resell it. As with most anything I buy that is not a collector piece it went to the range to run a mag or two through it. A bit bulky for true concealed carry, but what a dream to shoot.

Had a 9mm compact a few years ago and really liked it. IMHO the whole Beretta PX-4 line is very underrated. Great shooter with that rotating barrel.
If your looking for a traditional hammer fired polymer pistol though look at the CZ PO-7. What killed the PX-4 for me (and the 92/96's also) it that slide mounted safety. I just.. don't like it.

Yeah, the P-07 has been on my list for a while. The only reason I'm even considering the Beretta is that I can get into it a hair cheaper, and its a hair shorter as well.
I my case, every .1 inches makes a big difference.

I have one. I converted the safety/decocker to a decocker (very easy) only and now it is a great gun. The controls stick out a bit but you can buy slimmer versions from Beretta (I just ground down and refinished those on the gun to suit my taste).

I also had a CZ P-01 that was very comparable. I ended up selling the CZ and keeping the PX4 compact.

I have a PX4 Compact in 9mm and very much like it. IMO, it's an order of magnitude better pistol than the typical Austrian striker-fired pistol ... ;) It is heavier because you're getting more steel for your money - but it's also bulkier as a result. I like the steel (I assume Mec-Gar) magazines and the rotary-barrel concept. I'm in the minority, here, since I especially like the dual-safety levers ...

Thanks for the replies.
I went with my heart and my gut and ordered a CZ P-07 in 9mm.
I decided that I didn't want to replace my EDC G27, so the compact Storm end up being on the smaller side for a HD/range gun. The size of the P-07 kinda hits the sweet spot.
Hopefully that decision will be rewarded next week.

You can also put in a cougar/8000 hammer spring, it will brought down the DA trigger pull on mine to 7.5#
