Best factory 44 Special defense round for a 3 inch barrel ?

I've always carried the 200gr Winchester Silvertip HP in my Model 624 3" Combat. But as my supply runs out (and it will pretty soon), I bought a case of Fiocchi 200gr Semi-Jacketed Hollow Point that I will be switching to. The Silvertips have just risen above my pay grade.

Edited to add: Just before Thanksgiving, I also bought ten 25-round boxes of PMC Bronze .44 Special 180gr JHP from Palmetto for $11.99 each, shipped. Should have bought more at that price before they ran out.

I WOULD RELY ON EITHER BUFFALO BORE ANTI-PERSONNEL HARD CAST WADCUTTERS, OR SPEER GOLD DOT 200GR JHP---AS A 2ND CHOICE.....

THE WADCUTTERS DON'T RELY ON EXPANSION TO DO MASSIVE DAMAGE. FAMED MEMBER OF THE NYC PD'S "STAKE OUT SQUAD" JIM CIRILLO, SURVIVED MORE CLOSE QUARTER GUNFIGHTS THAN WYATT EARPE. HE KILLED 11 CRIMINALS, AND INCAPACITATED MANY MORE. HIS CHOICE OF AMMO WAS WHATEVER BRAND OF .38SPL WADCUTTERS, THAT HIS AGENCY WAS USING TO TRAIN ITS RECRUITS. OBVIOUSLY, WADCUTTERS WILL GET THE JOB DONE.......

44 Spl, Speer Gold Dot Hollow Point, Bare Gel (PC HP Test) YouTube

Speer Gold Dot my choice. Good video in gel. Be Safe,

The only reason I haven't moved to these is because I've not seen any chrono data on them out of a short barrel. I asked Speer if they had tested it and they said no, and went on to say the bullets were designed to expand at over 750fps. With the video being a handload, I decided to hold off until I could chrono the factory load. It looks like a great round.
