Being of Italian background, I figure I know what's good pizza. You have to start with a well-made dough for the perfect crust, the best cheeses, tomatoes and toppings.
Personally, I favor NY-style because I grew up eating NY pizza, which features a thin crust or Sicilian-style (thick) and a sweet-tasting sauce and lots of mozzarella. I've tried Chicago and didn't like it near as much. Sauce atop the cheese?! No way!
Also, don't care for all the crazy concoctions: pineapple, shrimp, etc.
Frozen pizza is pretty bad, but forced to buy one I'd go with Homerun Pizza, which has a decent crust. DiGiorno is a distant second, but face it, there's nothing like hand-made.
Make mine pepperoni and lotsa gooey cheese coupled with a cold beer and I'm in pizza heaven.
How about you? Weigh in, please with your faves! Let's agree to disagree -- tastefully, of course.
Hungry, anyone?
