Of the recent ones, Blue Bloods usually impresses me. I think Danny is a hotheaded jerk, but most of the others are okay.
NCIS has usually been pretty good, but I know Harmon and that actress who plays the zany lab girl Abby are politically poles from me in real life, which bugs me. But as actors, they fill their roles well.
I like NCIS New Orleans.
I liked, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World a great deal. Among other aspects, the heroes were about the only civilians with guns in a heroic TV role in decades. Of course, Veronica relied on knives and Finn used a crossbow instead of a gun.
As a kid, I liked, Soldiers of Fortune, Ramar of the Jungle, Perry Mason, and, the 77th Bengal Lancers. Add, The Sheriff of Cochise and US Marshal.
"Lawman" with John Russell was a favorite Western. I liked, Star Trek, although aware of its social "messages", with which I didn't always agree. Some of the plots were a little too far out for me.
I liked, Star Trek: Enterprise, especially Scott Bakula as the captain and T'Pol, played by Jolene Blalock. (SP?)
I love a fashion show that comes on CBS each December, but am not sure if it's prudent to name it here.
