After the first range trip with my 2.0 I quickly found the need for sights adjustments. Both front & rear were both noticeably right of center. With a little effort I got the front centered and will check POI on the next renge visit. Now to the rear, I can tell by a little tapping with a brass punch it's in there pretty darn tight, so my thought is removing it and loosen the fit up a little and mybe drill & tap it for a set screw. ( If there's enough material to do so)
My reasoning for this is for easier adjustment and allowing for the slide plate removal to clean the striker channel when needed.

I've never been a fan or orange sights, and believe that the sight "problem" of the BG 2.0 is more pervasive than we know.

Anyway, I plan on buying a set of XS sights in the next few weeks (when they will be available), and having a proper gunsmith install them. They will have a larger front site, a nice rear sight, and the front sight will glow in green which my eyes prefer over red and, certainly, orange.

I'm not sure your idea of reinventing the rear sight works; it also may void your warranty, but maybe changing the sights altogether like I plan to do does also.

I'm a huge fan of this little gun now.

Ifyou have the tools and know how to install a set screw and fit a sight, it is a great idea! If this is a 1st time project, it could be sorta tricky since you will not have much room for error.

I would try it. A replacement sight can always be had if you mess up.

True, I can always buy another rear sight. My only concern is getting enough threads. I think 3 would be about it using a 48 TPI grub screw.
