Ok I bought my new BG380 yesterday and put it thru it's workout today.

The very first shot I fired from 30 ft I used the laser. I used the regular

target with the 3 inch black circle . The hole was in the X ring which

pleased me and the people watching to see the BG380. The gun was just

recently put on the ok list to purchase by the state of Massachusetts.

I fired the following ammo: Independence 90gr FMJ, Cor-bon 90gr +p JHP

Winchester 92gr FMJ(the hardest recoil) Speer Gold-Dot 90gr+JHP and

MFS 9(made in Hungry). Looks like 90gr although boxed is not marked.

It seems to have VERY hard primers as it took up to three strikes to fire

the round. This ammo was fired thru two new BG380's with the same poor

results. The laser is real accurate as it came from the factory as no

adjustments were necessary.I like the gun and recommend it for what it is.

It works well and is only 3/4 " wide . It only comes with one magazine and

at this point there are no magazines available to purchase. I paid $380

plus tax for it.

I ordered a BG 380 two weeks ago. Looking forward to picking it up early in January when we return to Florida. Would you mind giving us the serial number range? EAA - EAB or higher.

Nice, It's on my list, was in AAA guns friday they were out... I ran about 50 rounds through one up at S&W store\range a few months back, it was nice. The wife wants one too, that's a plus. :) Where'd you get yours, I'm from WS too..

My little BG380 is very accurate. The serial # is EAF94xx. It was test fired at the factory on Dec 14. It's BRAND new. I bought it one week later. I bought it at Guns & Gun parts on Westfield St. I'm told that Nicks sporting in Palmer has them. Good luck and enjoy.

Not yet, I stopped into AAA after work, think I have to stay out of there, Phil was busY and the other guy that usually sits at the door counter was his typical nasty self when I asked him a question, so I bailed without finding out if they still had one. I usually stop into Mike's once or twice a week, was surprised he had one of those for ya.. I'll stop in and check him out tomorrow, my shop is just over the bridge on Walnut Street so I tend to sneak over there when I need a FIX..:)

Tell me about the match, where was that and how did it go, sounds like fun. I'm pretty new with guns, still in the just firing lots of rouunds for fun mode.. I brought 4 hand guns up to S&W shooting range last and had some fun, an M&P 9c, 40fs, model 39-2 and my new TRD 325.. A few of my CCW guns.. :)

BG380 match

[
Jack, I went to an IDPA match inPalmer. After the regular match we shot
our back up guns (BUG). We only shot 4 rounds out of bug as it is suppose to be used very quickly with quick shots. We shot 2rounds then after running a few feet to engage the 2nd bad guy we were scored. I hit both badguys in the center of the target . It took me 4.28 Seconds. The best time was 2.23 seconds with a S&W model 36. that's a .38 cal with like a 2 in barrel.

P.S. Did Mike have your gun ? Tell him I sent you in as he always treats me right. Good luck.

Bob

Thanks Bob, that sounds like fun. I haven't checked out any of the gun leagues, still just having fun and playing at the shooting ranges.. mostly Smith &Wesson store. Stopped in and hung around Mike's last nite, didn't see any BG's, forgot to ask him.... oh well I'll have an excuse to sneak up there today...
