Big buck and coyote on trail camera.....

Deer season has ended here in my Southwest Virginia, at least in my home county, Smyth, rifle season ended December 2. So, at least one big buck survived on my property. Trail camera revealed this big guy about 200 yards behind my house:

And, the first time a coyote was captured on film, same place, 200 yards behind the house. I have heard them yipping, and seen their scat, looks like dog poop but full of fur. Maybe mice fur, maybe deer.

So, since November, I have seen two bear, countless does, some big bucks, and now a coyote. This place is full of game!

I'm getting lots of elk and blacktail, coyotes, raccoons, the occasional bear, and a bobcat twice. Still hoping to catch the mountain lion my neighbor got on his cam last spring.

I enjoy searching through hundreds of pics off my cams. Seen bobcats, coyotes and even once a pig. Makes the let down of having to come out of the woods more tolerable.
