A speck of sand on a beach.
Oh, too many granules of sand in the beach. Better give up! Roll over and die!

Nah. I disagree.

"...One senior administration official said there was no one else in the Islamic State’s global constellation of operatives who rivaled Mr. al-Sudani in his ability to receive and distribute illicit funds — as much as hundreds of thousands of dollars at any given time — to far-flung ISIS affiliates on at least three continents through a network of clandestine contacts he built over more than a decade..."

Senior ISIS Leader in Somalia Killed in U.S. Special Operations Raid - The New York Times

Okay by me if you don't believe it worthwhile to kill terrorist leaders. I do. Low level terrorists, too. Kill 'em all.

That's what I believe.

Death and destruction to the enemies of our country. Never forget. Never forgive.

If it disrupts their killer's network for even a short amount of time until a suitable(?) replacement is found then it saves lives. Having to live your lives in caves to avoid detection and elimination has to be one miserable experience. Those reptiles have to know that it's only a matter of time before they are next.

He was probably set up. During the Troubles in Northern Ireland, if someone got too big for his britches, bucked the Establishment the Other Side would be told, we'll finger him for you but your people have to do the dirty work. Yes, ants on an anthill. Like dealing with feral dogs attacking your livestock, always another to take its place.

I'm all for killing these relatively minor bad guys when we can. It keeps the edge of the sword sharp for when we really need it.
