Bill O'reilly's "Heavy weapons" poll

I used to watch him but he is what you would consider a "moderate" which means he goes whatever way the wind blows. On guns he knows as much as I do about nuclear physics. I remember some of the times when he had Glenn Beck on how he would talk down to Glenn who is now much bigger than O'Reilly. Glenn by the way jumped on O'Reilly for this on his radio show so I'm sure he's going to get some emails from Glenn's listeners too.

I don't watch combative gas bags. Remember when the NRA had Rush at their convention, and they presented him with a fancy muzzleloader, and he says something like "Wow, I've never had a gun before." O'Reilly's time on Fox needs to end... I stopped watching this guy a long time ago. His arrogance darn nears approaches Obama's. He is the most pompus, arrogant a-hole on that network. The last couple of times gun control came up in the news he was spewing this misinformation too. I will not watch FOX when he is on...

I remember when Bill was on local KMGH tv channel 7 in Denver back about 30 or so years ago. He was the weather guy. He was an idiot then and now. Back then he went by the name "Bill Reilly".

Fox took a huge turn to the left when they removed Judge Andrew Napolatano from the air several months back. Maybe Fox can get Rachel(Chachi)Maddow on as Bill's partner. That might spike the ratings.

I do not watch the moron and I find it hard to believe that his show does as well as it does. I guess many of his listeners like his misinformation and uninformed opinions.

It is my guess that he is protected by armed security probably armed with some of the types of weapons that he rails against.

I like FOX News, that is not my issue. In fact ever since the election I will not watch anything but FOX. I used to watch CNN some too but their blatent bias during the election turned me off for good. I just won't watch this idiot O'Rielly. I am very thankful that we have at least one alternative news network (for now at least). They do have some great anchor people and shows - just not BO.. I think their format good for the most part and they are truly, the only TV station with anything close to the facts and truth .

I once served as assn't gunner on a 105mm howitzer. That is sort of a a heavy weapon. I would consider heavy weapons starting at a 50 cal M2 machine gun and going up. Bill O. is not a gun person, never served in the military, and should keep his mouth shut about things he knows nothing about.

BATF is more regulatory compliance than investigation. Just 5000 personnel to collect tax and proof all food grade alcohol, collect tax and ensure cigarettes self-extinguish per regulations, ensure compliance of codes in blasting operations (mines, roads, demolition), and finally insure the American firearms industry remains top notch. I hope this was the direction o'l Billy Boy was going by mentioning FBI involvement.

Not to nit pick, but the way BATF operates is with coordination with every level of enforcement, and therefore has a ready response team of many hundreds of thousands, including the national guard, U.S. Marshals, FBI, state, county and local police departments. They aren't short of hired help, they even can get the DEA to show up for work...sometimes.

I go to multiple internet sources and double check important stories.

The mainstream 'news' is mainly propaganda IMO. They push Big Govt and collectivism.
