Hello everyone,
The slide on my S/W M&P 22LR full size pistol began binding and at one time became stuck in the rearward position
Before this began happening, on the range it would not go fully into battery and then FTF, double feed, failure to eject. I keep it cleaned and oiled. Have any of you ever experienced these issues with the M&P 22LR full size pistol? The reason I purchased the full size is because of the compact version,; it functioned incredibly flawless. But I learned after purchasing the full size, that it was not made by S/W but by Walther or a company that owns Walther; I am really disappointed.
I purchased it used and it looked like new; no signs of wear and appeared to have been fired very little.
I contacted S/W by email this weekend (even though it's a non-warranty firearm) to find out what they would say about repairs, hoping that they might show mercy and make it right for free but I believe the chances of them repairing it for free are slim and none. I don't even know if it's worth investing what it would cost to make the repair, but any ideas what the cause of this issue might be?
Thanks in advance,
-John
