Bipod or Rest?

My very sturdy NcStar bi pod (short model) $30+ shipping and a blue jeans sand bag is what I have been using to zero and shoot 100 yards........No complaints.

Purchased a camera tripod for $5 from the thrift shop
Modified top with 2" PVC pipe cut in in a C shape , then heated and formed to hold gun.
Light weight, fits in rifle bag and works perfectly.

After procrastinating for some time, I bit the bullet and got the Harris bipod model 1A2-LM (9-13") with QD adaptor. Expensive but worth it and I know I will be happy with it. Very good quality. Tnx for a healthy discussion with you guys.

Is that Harris Bipod HBRMS rated for the 106 recoiless rifle or the 105mm howitser?........At $99.99 you wouldn't want to mount a measly 22 on it.
