Anybody try the BH .357 in 125 and 158 SJHP ? The price for a 50rd box isn't bad compared to some of the 20rd personal defense ammo out there . Just wondering how their published velocities are to real world chronographed velocities .

I have used their ammo in 9mm 38+P and 223 and 45 ACP. I have also read articles in gun magazines and other web boards from users. All the information and my own personal use of their ammo has been very positive. They use quality components.
One problem is that form time to time the components change sometimes.
For example in some of their 9mm loads they used spear gold dots until speer stopped making the available. Now they use I believe hornandy xtp bullets. Like I said before quality components.
I am having an XS night sight put on my J Frame. I called XS and they told me their sight will shoot to point of aim with 125 +P loads. I want to use the 125+P black hills load because it is a lot cheaper than the 135 gr speer short barrel I have been using and also for a 10 oz gun using the heaver loads reduces my practice time with this J Frame because it is painful to shoot more that a box of 158 gr ammo.

i just picked up a thousand rounds from a friend over the weekend...four bucks a box...its BH 158gr swc factory reloads...i'll give a report after i try some....normally i reload everything but i couldn't pass this up
