Today I stopped in a local gun shop I don't frequent often. Over in the "bargain corner" I spy a S&W holster bag on a hook.

Faded label with $49 tag x'd out and $20 cash written in black marker.

I strain to read label.....B L W 624. hmmm, that sounds familiar.....

Then....Made specially for S&W 1985 Limited Edition Mod 624 3" Stainless .44 Special Combat....

YIKES!!!! and I don't even have one.....

But, I DO have a 24-3 LH 3", just have to make do I guess.....

Oh, and it's BRAND DAMN NEW!!!!

Sun was shining and birds a singin'.....a VERY good afternoon.

624 Holster

That's how I got my second one. Not too many people have carry permits in P.R. of N.J. and I aways check the holster bin for nice leather. Got a nice Ostrich Quill skin holster for my Glock. Custom made $275 holster for $25.:)

Yes very good name brand holsters show up in the junk bins. I have found nice Galco,s and military 1911 holsters for a song. They get recycled and don,t hold there value. There loss and your gain.

Had to charge camera battery. I have a couple pics if someone would be so kind to post them for me. THANKS!

I got lucky and when I got my LH 624 the holster was with it-in the bag. I put the gun in once, put on my belt to admire it, then replaced it with my original Pancake by Roy Baker made for 3" N frames for carry. Back to the bag for posterity for the LH holster.
