So on Friday and Saturday, here in the Washington DC area we are already under a blizzard watch. Living in Northern Virginia, just outside of DC if we get the 24" of snow we will be shut down as I do not expect to see a snow plow until Sunday. I had plans to go to a local gun show in Manassas and stop at the Abraham Bowman Distillery to pick up some bourbon. Besides shoveling what would you do? It's me, wife and 16 year old daughter.

Make chili, clean firearms, drink, ??????

All of the above !!!

We got 1 and 1/2" and all that was on this mornings news was
slide-offs and delay information.
These people here freak out on ANY snow now.
Been like that since the blizzard of 78.
News Talking Heads just make everything out to be
more than what it is. I just ignore them mostly.
But some good drink and cleaning guns sounds like
a good plan to me sir.

We had maybe two minutes of freezing rain here in Chattanooga. Before it even touched ground people were driving their cars off the road and into ditches.

I never would have guessed you live in Chattanooga.......

After experiencing the blizzard of 78 in Ohio I would stay at home if they expect a bad heavy snowfall. The news here is saying up East will get clobbered with snowfall.
It was low 60's here today and was out shooting targets. We are expected to have low 50's for next few days from your cold weather drifting down here.
