Has anyone else tried this ammo in their Bodyguard 2.0? Mine is running flat point ammo and Hornady Critical Defense but chokes on this stuff like Scam-all-ya on a Fox News interview with Bret Baier! Anyone have any luck feeding this ammo or should I consider sending it back to Smith?

Mine feeds both the non +P versions of the 90gr and 68gr without a hickup

I read a number of posts about the BG 2.0 working with this or that ammo for some but not others. Mine wotks with HCD but didn't run the Underwood FTX or Defender rounds when others had no issues... I guess at what point do you send it in if you think its a QC issue with the pistol? I have 500+ rounds through mine and polished both feed ramps...

I carry the 68gr. Defender version from Underwood that's alleged to travel 1300fps and found that making sure the concave "fluted" portion always faces directly up when mag loading results in perfect performance. This makes it look ~similar~ to a FMJRN if imagining the flutes are filled in.
Before doing so one or two would hang up a tad while charging only, but that's gone now.

Mine choked on the 68gr Defender. Every other ammo works great, but the Underwood hangs up on the feed ramp.

I have not tried the 90 grain Xtreme Penetrator ammo, but mine feeds the Underwood standard pressure 68 grain Xtreme Defender ammo. It also runs my handloads with the same bullet that runs 100 fps slower muzzle velocity.

Mine will not handle the Hornady Critical either. After shooting a couple hundred range rounds with no problem, I ran two box's of Hornady through it . Every magazine had a jam half way through. Round gets caught halfway into the chamber. So looking for another brand of defense.

The BG 2.0 Manual specifically states not to use +P ammo. What are some reasons you might go against the manufacturer's warning?

The BG2.0 has one of the smallest, thinnest barrels I've ever seen. I will not try +P in mine. If something happens, your warranty is out the window, besides maybe injury.
