So im a huge J frame fan, but since I received my Bodyguard 2.0 it has stayed in my pocket over my J frames. Its the 1st auto I have found that draws almost as smooth as a J frame. Both at work as a bug & off duty it is just a breeze to carry. It shoots very very well & with 11 or 13 rds its really hard to carry my J frames anymore. Is anyone else having similar observations? Is this really the J frame replacement? What's everyone's opinion. Just FYI ive been carry assorted J frames for over 20 years.

Sorry- I refuse carry a pre-energized striker gun with no manual safety in my pocket.
IIRC, they make a version with a manual safety.
They do make one with a manual safety. In fact, the safety is required in some states like CA and MA. Mine has one, as you can see here:

Same for me just a different brand.

Carried an LCR for almost a decade. But when the LCP Max was introduced I switched to it for the 160% increase in capacity.

Just don't sell your J Frame.

Will the Bodyguard 2.0 fit in my right front blue jeans pocket?
If you carry with no round in the chamber (like Honest Outlaw does), the answer is yes. If you want a round in the chamber, you will want a pocket holster (which I use). In that case, the answer is "how tight are your jeans?"

Depends on the pocket shape and size. Some work better with a J some work better with the BG2.0

Lots of good reports on the Bodyguard.
I switched from a pocket semi to a hammerless J frame (642) about 10 yrs ago when I was 60.
Nothing to think about, Never experienced a life/death adrenaline dump so I figured idiot proof reliability was best for me. Often carry 2, and/or add a IWB Glock 23 if I feel the need.
A lot depends on where you live and what your exposed to.
