Hello All,

Just got picked up a box of Winchester Ranger T for my BG. Before I had found these I was carrying The Hornady Critical Defense / Zombie Max Rounds with the polymer filled tips. What rounds do you think are better? I have the same rounds for my M&P 9mm Shield and swap them out for the Ranger T's. I dont know of it is the whole Black Talon thing. Looking for some input.

either or in my opinion. Hit what your shooting at and you did what you could the rest is up to a higher power.

At this point i would be happy to find any of the above ammo. Critical Defense would be my first choice.
I did find some Magtech Guardian Gold in +P. They feed well are acurate and have some good test reports.

When I bought my BG.380 a few months ago good ammo was hard to get and all he had was Rem Golden Sabers 102 grain brass jackets. I had plenty of hand loaded FMJ stuff home so I bought the only two boxes he had.

I like them they are as accurate as to be expected in this little gun but they do kick pretty hard. FWIT the kick harder than +PS do in my XDs.45. :D Good thing I'm not bothered much by recoil. Since then I picked up a couple more boxes for my stock.

Shoot at least 100 rounds of each through your pistol. Pick the one that goes 100 rounds in your pistol with NO problems. Reliability in YOUR pistol is the real issue.

Keep testing ammo until you find what works every time in your pistol (not my pistol, not someone else's pistol - YOUR pistol).

Watching the gel tests, Hornady CD and Federal Hydra Shok are pretty impressive for a 380 and cycle perfectly in my BG...I'll carry either. Expansion of these two are VERY consistent. As far as range stuff, I really like Federal American Eagle, they burn pretty clean.

I didn't vote because I fired my BG 380 for the first time today. HCD is the only .380 ammo I've been able to get my hands on and I was only able to get 75 rounds. The HCD worked fine, but no experience with the others.

This ammo shortage is an absolute crime, we can't even enjoy our hobby. I hope those that have hoarded up many thousands of rounds and keep buying at 2x prices wind up in hard times and have to sell for pennies on the dollar, it would tickle me to death.

If you planned ahead, you should have already had a stock pile of ammo.

Stock piling ammo is like having a good retirement plan. Having too much ammo is like having too much $$$$.

Yes, the choices are rather slim....

I have some CCI hollow points I bought about 1600 at an auction....

Does it really matter when the pea shooter is this small??? Probably just make a man mad if you ever shot him with such a pipsqueak gun anyway.... :p

Well, I don't want to really hurt anyone.

I like 90gr Underwood ammo. Very hot (at least 1200 fps in a Beretta 84), and very accurate. Reasonable, too (when in stock, keep checking).

If he's inside defense range he's going to be more than mad...he's probablygonna be dead. If he's 50 yards away you may be right, but if he's 50 yards away why would I be shooting?
