Howdy all, new here. I was cleaning my 442 the other night, probably should not have been at that time, I went to remove the bolt as there was a little bit of "sludge" there and silly me forgot to block the plunger when I lifted it out. I got down and combed every inch of everything and can not find it. I messaged s&w and guess what, out of stock. Checked midwest, brownells, all out of stock. This is the only pistol I own. So I am sitting here with a non fuctional revolver and no way to fix it. Can anybody help me? Trying to find a bolt plunger for a 442, just the plunger, I have the spring. Thank you all

When I was a teenager I would watch Zacherly on weekend nights. During his intermissions he did skits. I remember one of his skits he dropped somethins very small on the floor and couldn't find it so he took off his shoes and socks and felt around the floor for it. Your feet are very sensitive and will feel things better than your hands. So take off you shoes and socks and get started feeling around the floor.

I have one spare that I will send you if you will return one when they come back in stock somewhere. PM for details if this works for you.
Thanks sir, I will try that out .

Thanks to everyone for, I appreciate the help !
