Has anyone seen Bombshell?

What did you think of it?

A ll three actresses are among the best, and Theron looks amazingly like the real Kelly in publicity photos and previews.

I'm having cursor problems. Excuse spelling, please.

Mrs. Chief38 and I go once in a while ( actually went 2 days ago ) and the movie we saw was so bad I don't remember the exact title. A who-dun-it movie with Jamie Lee Curtis - something like Long Knives - don't waste your money! The last good movie we saw was "Allied" with Brad Pit and that was years ago! Unfortunately - more than not the stuff Hollywood is turning out today is junk!!

We have the Ultimate Gold Package on our Cable service which includes every single channel Altice offers, plus Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu. The best movies I've watched are usually the old ones from the 1940's. In fact today we watched Casablanca for the umpteenth time!. Yea, I've seen it dozens of times but the old stuff is still better than most of the new flicks!

Hollywood puts out one or two great movies a decade IMHO - pretty sad in my book!

Uh, okay. But I'm just looking for comments on, Bombshell, about Megyn Kelly and her career at Fox News, a film released on Dec. 20.

I think it's interesting that all three major actresses are from Down Under: a South African and two Aussies.

But one Aussie also holds US citizenship. Guess who. She was born in Hawaii while her parents were on holiday.

That is s great movie , almost like outlaw josie wales but in the pre columbian jungle lol
I agree both are great christmas movies

Actually what makes Apocalypto a Christmas movie is that it involves a young man using improvised weapons to fight off bad guys in an effort to be reunited with his family. It's Home Alone set in the jungle.:D

It (the movie) will appease all the left wing man haters other than that it will waste about 2 hrs of your time. [emoji107][emoji107]

I intend to take my 13 year old granddaughter to see it during her Christmas break.

I think it’s important for her to understand what’s not okay. In self defense terms, it’s a sort of situational awareness.

I can think of much better ways to waste a few hours of my life than going to see that. I have zero interest in those folks or what they will do to further their careers.

In an election year it is not a coincidence that Hollywierd is putting out a move that portrays the best known conservative news source and the republican president as devils. Regardless of however much truth there is in the story my entertainment dollars won't go to electing the anti-gun party.

Texas Star, your parade got rained out... :)

Not really my parade. I wasn't hawking the fIlm, just asking if anyone saw it and their reaction.

My own feeling is that Roger Ailes helped Kelly's career a lot although she didn't become intimate with him, and she should have forgiven his alleged pass at her and moved on.

I felt that Kelly was a liberal posing as a Fox type journalist and should have been happier at NBC. But that network rejected her because they felt she was tainted by having worked for Fox!

I enjoyed her NBC show while it lasted, if she had an interesting guest. The episode with Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters telling about surviving her carjacking was quite good, and I'm a fan of Demi-Leigh. I hope the thug she hit in the throat died.

I don't know the extent of Gretchen Carlson's beef with Fox.
