Another vote for 550 paracord. Gut it, melt the ends, GTG. I always double knot anyway, and I have not ever had the 550 wear out or break.

Lee, are you including the new plastic style, the ones with the barbed end, in the sorting? You can create an entire sub-set with these alone.
