used a pic from the web, and some notebook paper as a stencil. probably going to redo it with cardboard.

i think i'm going to be making a lot more in many different patterns/colors, and possibly sizes. looking into pricing to see if i can do them reasonably and ship them without making it absurd price wise.

all done. what would be a good price on these (or other patterns) shipped?
the cans are in awesome shape with good seals. and all the paint has a coating of sealant.

$20-$30 is my guess. My local surplus sells those for $15 but they are rusted and unpainted. And the gun store sells them for $20 in good condition with fresh paint. Nice little hobby you got there.

Cool stuff there but have you ever checked out the Government auction sites? These cans are available "raw" in everyone's area for CHEAP! I have a buddy that buys them in various sizes by the pallet. It breaks down to less then $3.00 a can. Sell them at the gun shows and $$. Kyle

yeah, i'm looking at a possible bulk purchase to get the price way down. the can i got was about $20. i'd like to get them painted and shipped for as close to, or less than that. or at lease make a bunch for myself.
