83% of all statistical comparisons are made up on the spot.

83% of all statistical comparisons are made up on the spot.
Boys (and girls), you just can't make this stuff up!
Boston bomb suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev included on list of victims of gun violence at NH rally - The Washington Post
"The group says his name shouldn't have been listed." Well Duh!
"Are felons allowed to hold elected office?"
In many areas, yes.
Think Marion Barry of Washington, DC.
Old Tamerlan was the victim of the stolen Mercedes SUV driven by his brother. It rolled over Tamerlan's head as the brother was running from the police. Around here, he's affectionately known as "Speedbump."
Statistics are suppose to be blind to cause...ALL deaths by gun violence is just that, whether three year olds shot by their brother, 15 year old girl shot by stray bullet from drive-by or LEO killing perp.If this guy is a victim of "gun violence, then every perp shot by a LEO is also a victim of gun violence. Kind of makes you look sideways at their statistics.

The database from which the data was gleaned is very specific about addressing that...ALL means ALL...no judgement, just raw data.
The coroners report specifically says he was killed by "gunshot wounds of torso and extremities and blunt trauma to head and torso."this is exactly correct! I have a relative in the Mass. ME's office and they found he was killed by his brother running over him. No one makes a point of this I guess because they're pleased with the idea the police nailed him first.
Whatever!!
I have found that folks usually don't trust statistics when they disagree with a preconceived notion and will fight to the end to support them if the stats support their belief. In other words figures don't lie, but liars figure.
