Bought a Crossbreed SuperTuck for my 9c

Well I tried mine this evening
Full mag no rd chambered on my MP9C
I guess it must be my build 6' 150 lbs
But it was not at comfortable for me
Could be the MP9C's bulkiness
Back in 94 I carried a 4053 IWB with a I think Mitch Rosen leather
No problem but that was a single stack gun and I weighed 165 then
Despite working out lost muscle over the 20 year period
Funny thing I can carry my 65-5 3" 357 with a Barami Hip Grip no problem --That will be my warm weather SD
The MP9C is OK OWB with my Forbus Paddle for cooler weather
You have a 2 week trial so I will return My CB
Unless somebody wants it $25 plus shipping

I love my Crossbreed Supertuck. My Glock 36 resides there frequently under my summer polos and other shirts. Very comfortable and very concealable.

I tried wearing it around the house today and it is getting better
I will keep it

If I had it to do over I think I would have gone with the Kahr CW9 instead of the MP9C
Double stack is not that great for IWB

Stick with it for a couple of days. I carry a M&P9C in a Crossbreed, and a M&P45C in a similar White Hat holster...both double stacked mags. The 45 carries as easily as the 9....hardly even notice that they are there. I'm 6', 215 and carry wearing shorts and a T shirt most of the time.

One trick I use for carrying a spare mag is to carry it in a horizontal position on my belt. Makes it a lot easier to bend over and the mag is just as accessible, if not faster than a vertical mag carrier. I have one that I modified, and the other is a Blackhawk that I found I could put on my belt either way.

As other said, stick with it. The more you wear it the more it breaks in and forms to your body. I've gone on a couple of 6 mile walks and it keeps getting better. The M&P 9c is a little chunky especially compared to a CW9 ( I have one)

That being said I'm looking for Crossbreeds for my 2 newest favorites who will be getting the Lions share of EDC soon

They are close in width to the 9c. The XD9sc summer carry and the XDM 3.8 45 for the winter. LOVE the trigger on these guns

For me I disagree, but I have not weighed 150 since junior high and have many pounds on you so imagine that would make a significant difference.

I went full circle, started with a revolver, then a double stack then on to single stacks and now back to double stacks. Just took me some time thinking the grass would be greener with the thinnest and smallest piece, but I eventually found my way back to the double stacks and that is what I carry most times now. Just took me a long while to figure out what worked for me, and no doubt it took a while for my body to accept carrying a lump of plastic and metal strapped in a place it did not previously belong.

I don't have a CB, but do use a hybrid holster for carrying a compact double stack on my strong side, around 3:30 and 4. Sometimes it's a M&P compact and other times it is a Glock 30S.

A few things for you to consider. Do you have a decent gun belt? It does help to have more support than a regular store belt for spreading the load. Secondly are you allowing enough space for a good fit for the holster in the waistband? I could wear a size 36 pants (or shorts), but I wear the next size up when carrying IWB.

Do give it some time and try different locations, ride height and cant. Make a change and see how it goes. When you get it right or very close to right, it should be getting quite comfortable.

If you feel a single stack will take you to carry nirvana, then by all means get yourself a single stack in addition to your compact. I think anyone with a double stack should also get themselves a single stack and a few different types of holster styles in order to give themselves more carry options.

I use single stacks for deeper carry times like when I am using a Smartcarry holster. Found I could use a double stack with that holster, but a single stack mostly below the belt line takes up a bit less space and is easier/faster to retrieve.

I too have a supertuck for my 9c and love it! I just ordered a hidden hybrid holster for my shield on 3rd of July and recieved it on the 5th! Talk about fast shipping! After wearing for a day I have to say it's as comfortable if not more so than my CB. I know they are different guns with different weight and dimensions but man the HHH is very nice! They are both great holsters and I would buy both again!

Just my .02

Well as far as concealed carry goes
Holsters can be rated by the Least uncomfortable
Haven't found any that are comfortable
Carrying is an inconvenience at best
