I did a search, and there are a few unanswered questions about them, so I don't know how popular they are here, but I've never owned one. I had been thinking about a Buckmark Contour Lite URX new at under $500, and saw this one -- an early 80s model -- used for $675. When I cycled the action, it felt like it was running on teflon bearings. The trigger was clean and oh-so-light. It was obviously made with care, so I did my part to boost a local business during the economic downturn.

I bought a 5" "A" series last year from an estate sale. Came in box with 6 magazines. Looked brand new. I didn't realize how much slop(or take up if you will) my Buckmark and Ruger Mk11 had until I went back to them after running mucho ammo through the 41.

Min'e s an A- series 5" too. No box and only one mag. I had hundreds of rounds of .22 lying around, but no .22, and I always liked the look of the 41.
