Hello,
Blue box with white end label computerized with the following sequence.
0643094031.
Box is for a model 64-3.
Any help on decoding the above label is appreciated

0643 is the model number 64-3, 094031 is the Product Code and early one not shown in the Standard Catalog from 1983. It is a 4" Heavy bbl, Stainless Steel with square butt grips. If the Spec Ord number is still visable the first number is the year of manufacture and the last three numbers are the julian date the pistol was made.

Thanks so much
Where would I find the spec ordinance number?
I did not see any other info on this label.
Thank you

Just checked again none there. Just the long production number and underneath is Mod 64 38 4IN SQ Y
Just as I typed it.
I see what you're talking about on newer end labels posted on this forum.
Mine does not have that separate listing.

"The Book" (SCSW 4th ed) says 7D10001-9D44500=1981. The features on the label show a "standard" 4" 64-3 with service stocks. Back in the day, a very serviceable "cop gun" down here in "The Swamp." Joe
