Brain surgery and a few funnies.

Kind of reminds me of my orthopedist when we were planning rotator cuff surgery. He's a shooter too--he asked me what guns I had. I gave him the short version and asked him why he wanted to know. He said if the operation wasn't 100% successful and I could no longer use the guns he wanted to buy them at a discounted price.

I've still got 'em all plus... "I Don"t Hurt Anymore".

Keeping things in perspective, trust in your medical staff and maintaining a sense of humor are crucial. You have mastered all three. You're in my thoughts. god bless.

Sounds like you're in great spirits considering the serious screwing over you have received.:) Hopefully they give you a good fitting screwdriver to tighten things up when necessary. No sense using a S&W screwdriver on a job like that!

When this is all over if someone says John Wayne, Wyatt Earp, Bill Hitchcock and you do not know who they are talking about I would ask for my money back from the doctors.

Just kidding friend hangs in there all sounds like its going well.:D

Hi Ringo:

Glad to hear you are doing well. A suggestion - ask the Dr. to remove the rivets/screws and replace them with BIG crude looking stiches. That way, when you get to go home, all you'll need to do is add some electrodes to your neck and you're all set for Halloween. Hang in there, buddy, we are all pulling for you.

Best regards,

Dave

Good to hear from you Ringo. You sound better all ready. Confidence and a strong mental outlook are aids to a speedy recovery and you have both.
I'll say a few more just for good luck.

Thanks for the report, Chrome-Dome...just kidding :D. Happy to hear the first round went OK. I have faith that you'll be good as new when all is said and done.

Best,
Don

Prayer from your brother in arms. May God rest His hand upon the shoulders on those caring for you. You remain in our thoughts and hope for the complete healing.
