Picked up a beat up one after cleaning, turned out not bad. I did some file work, a lot of sanding & polishing & sent frame & cylinder, through local shop, to be blued. Frame came back, still trying to find cylinder. Checked Numrich, none on hand. Does any one know where I can get a .45 ACP cylinder. Ser numbers won't match, but at least I will have a working gun. I would like one that is in good condition. I will use it or cold blue. I ain"t sending it away. Once was enough.

Try posting a Wanted to Buy ad on the Forum, or e-mail [email protected], he may have one available. Then present the receipt to the "local shop" for payment, and find another gunsmith to install it...

lee s gun parts had 1917 cylinders several years ago and were very helpful

Company going out of business, no excuse, just can't find it. Personal opinion. I think someone at the Company, because they were quiting, needed it worse than I need it. Did not know, nor did gun shop, that they were going out of bussines. Thanks for the hellp guys, I will try suggestions.
