breaking up boulders!

My first house had granite rocks exposed in the yard. Sledge hammer and the drive of a 22 year old produced a lot of tiny cuts from flying granite. The rock was no worse for the wear.

Maturity brings the wisdom to say, "Rocks 1, NYlakesider 0" Game called because of lack of interest.

EDIT: The Artiste in you can clear away the grass in a circular pattern around an outcropping and you can paint the S&W logo for a decorative touch.

Consider incorporating the boulders into the landscape. It can be very attractive. I have a neighbor who hired a landscape architect to design a backyard. The architect brought in boulders and plants that all worked together. Maybe an Internet search on landscapes with boulders would give you some ideas.

We had a contractor come in and drill 1" holes in some rather large boulders. In went the feathers and wedges. While they were beating on the feathers and wedges started drilling out the holes for the other boulders. One rather large boulder had to be drilled twice as it was too big to be picked up. Started at 8am and done by lunch. There are people who pay good money for large rocks. Then they are used for decorating. Frank
