I won't laugh! I hate them too!

There was one over the bathroom door last week, blocking my way. I yelled for my husband to come get it and he wouldn't, so I had to go get the vacuum and get rid of it myself. I said, "Why didn't you come get the spider?" He said, "You chase off a bear with a .380 but you won't get a spider. I don't get it." Well, because spiders are creepy!

Reminds me of when my son was visiting. He's 6'3" and 215 lbs of solid muscle. Isn't afraid of anything or anyone. Except spiders. Asked him to kill a spider for me, and he told me to kill it myself. He wasn't getting near it!
Another bug I hate are centipedes. Gives me shivers just typing it!

Jim, I remember that very well. He posted about his progress for some time and then it seems that he died almost overnight from those complications. For some reason that will always be with me. I never knew the man outside the forum.

Yeah, me too. His screen name was JTWard and he was our resident journalist. When we started breakin' bad on reporters, he would give us the inside 'scoop'. His posts were always well done and intelligent.

Another bug I hate are centipedes. Gives me shivers just typing it!

Nothing to do with this thread, I just think it's a neat poem.

A centipede was happy quite,
Until a frog in fun
Said, "Pray, which leg comes after which?"
This raised her mind to such a pitch,
She lay distracted in the ditch
Considering how to run.
