Brownell action jig

Has anyone here tried their jig for doing action jobs on S&W revolvers? If so do they do a nice job?
I have several I'd like done and it would be rather costly for a gun smith to do them all. I'm mechanicly inclined but have never tried an action job myself and thought this might be a good way to be sure the angles are correct.

I did try a search and came up wit no results. If this has been discussed before sorry and please point out the thread.

I used to do my own action jobs on revolvers 25 years ago. I am not aware of a jig except for an auto.

It takes some practice to get good at it and there is always a tendency to make it too light or reduce the sear engagement. If you try it take it slowly as you cannot put the metal back on. There are spring kits available for most guns and most of these will work but at times they create gnition issues.

I would start by lightly stoning all of the areas of engagement including the sear areas short of changing angles and install a good spring kit

I ordered the jig # 713-071-008 for S&W K, L and N frames plus adapters for J frame and Ruger SA.
I'll give the Power Custom jig a try and report back what I think of them. Cleance price now of $150.00 BTW.
