Cabela's M 22 Shipped

I sure hope the M 22 is worth the effort I have expended trying to get my hands on a box.

I was 3rd in line at Wally World at 1:30AM just to watch the first two guys by the 4 boxes they had a 7:AM.

2nd in line at another Wally World, first guy gets 3 boxes of
Fed Auto Match, I get 3 boxes of Auto match put them in the shopping cart and turn back to the counter as the clerk is putting the only box of M22 they have on the counter for the police officer that is 3rd in line.

I've been in line a 2 different Academy sporting goods and watched the guys in front of me get the last box. Been first in line when all they had was Fed auto match.

Got very lucky when it was listed in the " in stock thread" and got the order in. I have watched the thread a lot but have always been too late to place an order.

I called Cabela's today for an issue about my credit card and while I had them on the phone asked them when the M22 would ship. I explained I ordered it on May 16 and first received a ship date of 5/25, then a second email stated it was on backorder. They now tell me they have no idea when it will ship - the 5/25 date was just an estimate of when they may receive more. After ordering, I told a guy I work with about it, he came down to my PC and put in the same order. His credit card has been charged so it must be in transit. How can that be when he ordered after I did?

Mine shows In Process too, but when I click on it, at the bottom it says Backordered, and there is no date on it.

Credit Card has already been charged so I'm gonna sit on it a few more weeks before I request a refund.

On the way but not in store yet.

Ordered between 4-4:30am.
Found out around noon that it was put on back-order.
Used ship to store method.
Called in and was told the usual 5/25, but could be as long as 6/1 till another shipment arrived at their warehouse.

Just for S&G's I checked on the 21st, said it's been shipped and on the way.
Availability at the bottom still says "Shipped", not "Ready for Pick-Up".
I haven't received confirmation(email) so I'm guessing it hasn't arrived yet.
When order was placed it said by the 28th so we shall see...

On a related note:
It's possible something screwy happened to their servers during the maintenance on the 16th,
'cause here's what I've observed...

On the 15th, like others here, 3 different orders were placed(Viper, TB and GB).
The GB and TB shipped out the next day or so but the Viper said In-Process.
I checked on the 20th and it was still the same.
On the 21st I get an email that the Viper's are "Ready for Pick-Up".
The GB and TB are still showing shipped as of today.

IOW the Viper went from "In-process" to "Ready for Pick-Up" never stating shipped.
While the 2 that shipped the next day are still in transit?...Go figure....
I guess I'll give the store a call tomorrow or Mon to have them check on exactly what has shown up.
My advice?
Couldn't hurt to give a call to CS or the store(If U chose P/U) in a few days just to double check.
I believe the system isn't all that accurate right now.
(At least w/ In-Store P/U)
Will try to update when more is known...

I called Cabelas today and the lady said bo until July!

Check your credit card statement online after a few days. You shouldn't be charged until it ships. Usually Cabelas runs an approval, but it's not an actual charge. The original approval may show as "pending", then it goes away. Your credit card shouldn't be actually charged until Cabelas has the item in stock and ready to ship. There's really no harm in leaving it backordered, but you can always cancel the order if no longer needed.

Your right. I just checked, and It's no longer showing on my online statement.

M-22 @ Wall Mart, 1) Blue Springs - Oak Grove - Independence Mo last week of May-12.
Arrived at Blue Springs @ 05:30, 7 in line. Raced to Oak Grove, 1 ahead of me. Only 2 boxes of 1,000 at each store. Of course they were purchased by first in line, SOL that day.
Two days later Independence Mo. Wall Mart shows in stock. THIS TIME I walked in the door at 02:18 hrs and waited - and waited and waited for 08:00 when they sell ammo. GOT IT!! (by gawd) 2,000 rounds total cost $105.06 including extortion. (tax)
Will do the same when / if it shows up on my iPhone app again at the above Wall Marts.

5.5 hours waiting at Walmart!!!

I've had good luck with Cabelas, Midway USA and Walmart. I end up paying .06-.08 a round after shipping but it beats driving and sitting.

After reading about M-22 on internet and seeing some of the obscene prices being bid on Gun Broker, that is when 'gritted teeth' determination set in after being beat out 2 times.
Will do it again if M-22 shows up at any of the local WalMarts.

I ordered a box, my roommate ordered a box and my girlfriend ordered a box. Ordered mine first then my buddy then my girlfriend did 30min later. Got hers shipped a couple weeks ago. Me and my buddies = backordered. Have not received an email yet about tentative arrival 6-25

It good to hear that a lot of order's are being shipped.

Strange thing is our local Wally World's and the Academy Sports stores have been getting 4 of the 1000 round boxes every weekend.

There were people in line at one Wally World at 12:30 AM this morning; I stopped by on the way home from work at 1:30 just to see if anyone was there.
