All,

I've been searching both the forums and Google but so far I have not found an answer. I have a new M&P9c and am having my LGS install the Apex FSS trigger kit on my gun. While I am at it I plan to upgrade my sights.

I like the stock sights (I shot my buddy's M&P9c multiple times over 4 months before buying mine) so I would like to have sights that are the same size. Not larger or smaller. I cannot seem to find either 1) after market sights that specifically say they are the same size as stock or 2) the measurements of the stock sights.

With this in mind any recommendations for night sights?

Thanks
Jon

Check the Brownells catalog. I believe Trijicon makes/made the night sights for the M&P. Alternatively, call/visit Novaks website.

Here is a page with quite a few selections from Midway:

Sights | Smith & Wesson M&P | Semi-Automatic Handguns

In addition, I think you can buy the night sights direct from S&W, although I am not sure of availability or pricing, etc.

I think most of the makers of good night sights make sets for the M&P Series.

Hi,

The reason for my question is most simply make "M&P" sights and do not list if they are low profile, for a full size or compact etc. So sounds like my best bet would be to call? I admit I was trying to avoid that since it is very difficult to find time during normal business hours due to my job :(

Almost all sights for the M&P except the M&P Shield are about the same as they are sized to fit the dovetail and these are the same regardless if it is fullsize or compact in 9mm 40/357 or 45 but not sure about the 22 but since it seems to have the same M&P frame as it's big brothers it should have the same dovetail for its sights as well!

I love my TruGlo TFO sights and all my M&P's have them they not only glow at night but are bright under almost all lighting conditions!

Hi guys,

After reviewing the options from Midway (thanks for that link!) I ended up deciding on AmeriGlo classic style sights. They did not have the TruGlo TFO sights in stock Ended up with Orange front and green back, think the different colors may help create contrast that will aid with aiming.

I decided against the Trijicon sights due to price. At this time I simply cannot afford the price though if I do not like the AmeriGlo sights I may end up going down the Trijicon or try to find TFOs.

Now the impatient waiting game starts :)
