So lately I've decided I need more storage room..and I ordered a Snapsafe, as I like the design and the pricing. I placed my order on May 5th. and received a confirmation email on the order that day, and my credit card was billed. Today I got my 6 pistol racks..my 4 extra shelves and a dehumidifying rod..but NO safe. Hmm. I call Snapsafe...a Hornady company...and explain the situation about getting stuff for the safe..but NO safe. I was then told they are on backorder and may not ship till the END of June. Grrr. Why was I not told,or at least warned when I placed the order?? ?? Oh..we are having problems with the website. Well..the phone still works..you could have CALLED...after all,you asked for my phone number when I placed the order. Gee..sorry. We are having website issues. Swell.
It's not the end of the world..but surely someone should have made contact with me,the consumer, and explained there would be a delay and offer me options or a cancellation. I already have the accessories and the safe specific size extra shelves...so cancelling the order means I'll have to send at least the shelves back. It seems customer satisfaction is taking a back seat to pumping out the orders. Buyers beware.
