CARRY COMP GRIPS?

WHAT GRIP DID THE 3" 66 CARRY COMP COME WITH? WAS IT THE WHITE ONES? I HAVE ONE ARE AM GOING TO SELL IT, I THINK, AND WANT TO KNOW WHAT GRIPS TO PUT ON IT TO MAKE IT ORIGINAL. I HAD CHANGED THEM OUT. I HAVE A BOX FULL OF K FRAME RB AND COULDN'T REMEMBER. JIM P

Depends on the era. According to the SCSW the early M66 "F" Comp guns, starting in 1993, had the Uncle Mike boot grips. The later -6 guns, made from 2003, had two sets of grips - walnut Combat Stocks and neoprene Hogue Bantams. I've seen at least one early gun that had the larger UM combats and not the boots. There's also the possibility of distributor exclusive guns that shipped with other aftermarket grips, but I don't know of any.

Yes those are the 66-6 F-comps. Yours is one of the original pre-lock f-comps in 66-4. There is also the earlier 66-3 f-comp as well.
