Carry handle

Read several posts re: carry handles for the 15-22. Looking for a simple handle, standard, nothing fancy. Any idea where such a beast could be found? Thanks.

I bought an nc star at a gun show and it worked out great
cost about 30 dollars
saw one on an airsoft page all metal for 15 bucks....
looks the same

I have a cheap UTG Version 6. Has a good matte finish that matches the rifle well. I have seen others such as CAA that look like they are spray painted shiny.

That UTG version does have a real nice matte to it, you can tell in the photos. I have an airsoft one made by SRC (metal) but the sights are junk, and it's not as matte.

Wow. I looked on Brownells and balked at the price. I might re-purchase if I can find a price like that again--I like that look. I instead opted for a set of Magpuls.

I just did some searching for the UTG AR15 carry handle and found one, brand new at Amazon for $27.95 with free shipping.

I put the one that came on my M&P-15 on the 15-22 and it added a little weight to it and I like the look. So it's easy, go get a M&P-15 and your set.

I am seriously considering that option.

Yes, you can use it with factory front sight.

I'm a newbie to AR15's
I picked up I guess what is a stripped M&P so I'm looking for sights.
Friends are trying to talk me into Red Do's but I would like to start out with Iron sights and prefer the A2 Carry Handle for the rear and for the front a fixed sight to mount on the short rail that's provided.
Can you tell me where I can get a M&P A2 Carry handle or who makes it? I would like to get the standard one that comes with one. Is it S&W or?
Hope you can help .I need to shoot this thing soon. Thanx in Advance!

I picked up the UTG version and added the A-2 front sight. Works like a charm! The scope helps for the l-o-n-g shots!

I just bought one for my 15-22/M4 conversion, its a new Colt takeoff for $65 shipped from the EE on AR15.com. Those can be found pretty easily as a lot of guys take them off to mount optics. I have always thought you get what you pay for with sights, although I'm sure some of the less expensive ones are nice too.

If its mil-spec it will fit, no matter the brand, they usually don't have a brand name on them anyway.
