Cataract implant experiences, please!

I have both eye's corrected for distance. I was always a trifocal wearer, and found that I don't need glasses to drive, but if I go into a store I need one set of glasses to see things on the shelf, and another set to read any labels, and a third pair of sunglasses. I finally got so tired of this I got regular vari-lux lenses, with the copper tint self darkening lenses. Covers all three situations. My mid range correction is fine for handgun shooting. I have worn glasses since age 15 , so it isn't any big deal to keep wearing them. I do have separate shooting glasses for trap and skeet with no correction needed.

Currently, it seems as though the eye that has been worked on is fighting the eye that has yet to be operated on, leaving me with headaches when I try to read, the sensation of imbalance, and a sensation of increased pressure in the eye that is awaiting surgery.[My ophthalmologist claims that what I am experiencing now is common.]
Thanks!

You stated in another post that you are right eye dominate, by chance was the 1st surgery done on the left eye?

In my case I was highly right eye dominate and the left cataract was done first, then lo and behold I was left eye dominate because the vision in it was better. A little confusing at first but drove myself home 160 miles 2 days post op. Shooting was pretty terrible. Had 2nd eye done 6 months later and have bifocals with minimal distance correction and correction for astigmatism.
