Posterior Vitreous Detachment PSA

I'm 63 and have a condition whose "scientific" name I don't recall, but it's also known as an "Eye Migraine".
It starts (very randomly, with no stimulus that seems to start it) as a very small, "sparkly" rotating sphere in the center of my eye, which gradually expands and opens in the center until it finally goes away after about 15 or 20 minutes.
Alway seems like it starts in the right eye, but also seems to "migrate" to both eyes quickly.

That sounds exactly like what I had. See my Post #15.

I've had "ocular migraine" Auras(No headache, just the light show) my entire life. Until I was 63, I had no idea what they were actually called. When I was a little kid, I asked the eye doctor about the "Flashing Snake" I would see almost daily. He basically said, "Don't worry about it". Later on, I asked another eye doctor about it, and he shrugged his shoulders, and that was it. About 5 years ago, I was watching a movie and suddenly i began to see a wall of what appeared to be made up of fidget spinners, like this:

They were purple and I only saw the "wall" in my left eye. It scared the hell out of me and I called my eye doc as soon as they opened up. I went over there and eventually they had my carotid arteries ultrasounded and all was fine with that, and the doc says, "I think you had an ocular migraine aura". I googled it and realized I had had them as long as I can remember, and finally knew what the "flashing snake" was. Mine tend to be shaped like a C that has fallen over, with the open part facing down. Kind of a blend of these two examples:

For some reason, once I had my cataracts done a few years back, I don't see the show as often as I used to. Some of them are amazing!

This bottom one, I used to pick them off the backs of leaves and catch catfish. Had to be careful, they could bite.

I think I remember them!

The "zig zags" I have are finer grained. I guess is how to put it. I wish I was really good with drawing and had a way to animate the pulsing and color changes I sometimes see. Once in a while, I have what almost appears to be like a "fly's eye" with facets that pulsate and change color, those are fantastic to look at. Sadly, 20 minutes and they are gone, never to be seen again exactly the same way. Most are pretty, but boring. When I get a good one going, it's frustrating as hell to not be able to record them. I could look at a really good one all day.
