Cats vs Snakes

The neighbors cats that stay around my place are house cats and well provided for. They hunt because they want to, not because they are hungry.

If I didn't know they were the kids pets, I would stop it very quickly. I won't harm them because I know how I love dogs and I'm sure the kids love their cats as well.......I don't like cats..!!

Here in Florida we just had a baby killed by a snake, wasn't the snake's fault but that child is still DEAD...snakes DO NOT MAKE GOOD PETS... so all of you idiots that are rooting for the snake over the cat ...can kiss my asp !!!!

Snakes as pets? I'm rooting for the snake, but I don't believe a snake makes a good pet. At least we agree on that much. As for calling people who don't like cats "idiots", well, we'll just assume you had a bad day and leave it at that. About kissing your asp, no thanks. (I had thought I'd tell you to kiss my "cat", but I thought better of it. I don't allow total strangers to kiss my kitty!)

This snake turned the tables on this feline. Even put a triangle choke on him.

Cats are like people, the prey on the weak and small and brown nose the big and strong. Joe

Thus proving their intelligence.

And dogs do the same, just not as efficiently.

Our 3 mostly outdoor cats periodically catch and eat green snakes. I know this because they tend to throw them up undigested afterward. We have a dozen species of snakes on the property--I don't know why they prefer the green ones. It's too bad, because green snakes are pretty little things and among my favorite animals. The cats also throw up after eating lizards--there must be something irritating about reptile scales!
