CCW revolver? Model 19, 66… I’m just not sure. Ditching the SP101 idea…

Just an FYI since semi's were mentioned...whereas a 365 is my EDC, have yet to find a more balanced, more accurate semi then the G48 with it's Marksman barrel. Prefer it over every other Glock I have owned/shot.

LCC,

Unfortunately the enlightened State of California prohibits this pistol, along with countless others introduced since (IIRC) 2013, because they do not have the ability to micro-stamp shell casings.

I might find it perfect too, were I able to buy it, but right now that is beyond reach.

This law is, again, up for appeal. It was upheld the last time it was challenged, but the legal reasoning, in my opinion, was weak and, again in my opinion, failed to address the constitutional issues raised.

Glad you are happy with yours.

Well lets say this folks... I usually pack a self shucker. Glock 43, Sig 365, even Sig 365XL.. and now at a pawn shop I found a Glock 19, Gen 5, MOS, with the Trijicon Dual Defense™ Kit RMR® Type 2 mounted on it.

Dang gun was way underpriced. I got it with box, papers, 3 mags, MOS bases, laser bore sighter for $800, OTD. Perfect condition. Some guy even put the competition grip tape on the frame (which I will take off as I have small hands.)

Now I still hanker to pack my S&W 66-4 I've slicked up or that LadySmith dream.. but I do admit the slab sides do shoot better when one has to move very fast and transition to other targets.

So if you gents to go to the polymer stuff, don't sweat it.

I carry my 4” 686 everyday. It took a little while to get comfortable with the bulk but now. I feel naked without it.

To me, it’s what I shoot a lot. I’m very accurate with it and it’s second nature. If I need to defend myself, it’s what I want in my hand!!!

Long time ago I got this 65-2 'Ladysmith' someone dragged behind a car.. or whatever.. I had it bead blasted ($30!) and added a orange insert to the front sight. Yea I got it cheap back then.

Now since it has been altered I guess I could pack it... hmmm I might get it out and do an action job on it and slicken it up like I just did my 66-4 2.5 inch snub.

It is the one at the top of the photo..

Your 65 told me that he wants to go to Dave Lauck at dlsports for his fixed sights and custom work.
