Hoping someone can point me to a resource that details the 'dates of' and 'changes to' the S&W .32 Model of 1903 Hand Ejector?

Mine has been identified by others as a "4th Change" model. My research indicated there were a total of 5 changes up until 1917 with the 5th change being the most dramatic.

I'm just curious to see what each change(s) involved and what year each of the changes occurred.

Thanks!!

Guy is right. It would fill pages here on the Forum explaining the differences between these models and changes. Neal & Jinks have already done that in their book and it was pretty much copied in SCSW4. This alternative can be purchased and is the bible of S&W collecting, Smith & Wesson 1857 - 1945. Sometimes at low cost in online used book sites.

I agree. I found the 'Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson - 2016 edition' on Amazon last night for about $33 with free shipping. Should be here in a few days.

Thanks!

SCSW Pg. 127, 2nd model 5th change states:

"... and two extractor locator pins.

Were the 1st model &/or previous 2nd model changes pinless?
