Changing sights on a 915

I got a set of Trijicon sights for my 915 (the prev-Novak style that are for this model.) Both front and rear sights are dovetails, and I read somewhere that I should be able to remove the old sights using a brass punch. Well, I've tried and that rear sight isn't budging (haven't attempted the front.) Any advice on how to do this would be much appreciated, or do you think I should just bring it to a gunsmith?

You need a sight pusher or perhaps a trip to the gunsmith would be the best route to take. If mess with it and mark up the slide you will hate yourself!

Thanks for the responses. I am thinking a smith may be the way to go. I'd hate to mess up this nice pistol.
