Martya made a great point in regards to the "AWB" Look at NIJ, FBI stats and you will find that after 10 yrs of a "ban" there was no significant change in crime, also remember that during those 10 years the "nasty folder, flash hiders, and bayo lugs were removed, more AR, AK,SKS, clones of HK were sold than in the previous ten years ( look at batf stats ). So even though we know that after each tragedy caused by an insane person, the usual suspects want a ban on ---- fill in the blank. You can not discuss this with the virulent antis since facts do not matter!! 9 VS 45, 30-06 VS 270 can be discussed, but the moon is not made of blue cheese!! You can not discuss, and idea when one of the people refuses to accept "facts" Stay Vigilant

You know I really liked the guy until I read that.I think he
is from Canada(no excuse) but would explain his thinking.
This was written quite awhile ago and I have never heard
him advocate any type of gun control(the few times I have

We don't need our guns to protect us from the drug crazed crack-heads, they are to protect us from our gov. and that is what the framers had in mind.

Amen! The reason the United states exists to day is because of people speaking out against their oppressors, and taking up arms to defeat them. It is not coincidence that the first two amendments in the Bill of Rights are the freedom of speech and the right to keep and bear arms
